Major investment in the Audi brand in Australia continues with the opening of a stunning new Audi Terminal in Queensland.

The new Audi Centre Springwood, built by the James Frizelle Automotive Group over the past year signifies a major investment in the brand and the region. Dealer Principals Brett and Rebecca Frizelle will run the impressive new facility which is one of the first Terminals in Australia to feature the brand’s new customer zones designed to showcase the Audi Sport high-performance vehicle range and the exclusive Customer Private Lounge.

The facility also boasts capacity for 17 new cars in the main showroom, as well as 24 preowned vehicles and extensive workshop facilities for 16 vehicles.

Audi Australia’s Managing Director, Andrew Doyle opened the new Audi Terminal with a star-studded list of guests in attendance, including Audi Ambassadors Asher Keddie and Matt Moran who flew in especially for the occasion.

Joining them were Channel 9 news anchor Melissa Downes, Olympic gold medallist Sally Pearson and former V8 Supercar driver Russell Ingall as well as Logan Mayor Pam Parker and Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate.

At the official opening and celebration Mr Doyle said that Queensland was a market that showed particular potential and was critical to the continued development of the brand in Australia.

“New Facilities like Audi Centre Springwood will not only drive our profile in the North-eastern region, but also cement our reputation for delivering the best-in-class customer service,” he said.

Audi Centre Springwood’s General Managed, Tania Meli said that the dealership had recorded 9.3% sales over the past 12 months in it temporary accommodation and that sales had increased by 33% since moving into the $26 million Terminal facility.

Quite aside from its tremendous potential as the new home of Audi in the Logan region, the 3,000 square metre facility proved to be the perfect party venue when it was transformed into a stunning venue for the opening celebrations, with a bespoke menu created especially for the event by Matt Moran as well as music by DJ Fuzzy and a specially design dessert buffet.

It was a fitting opening event for the facility which demonstrates the continued investment in the Audi brand in Australia.

“Audi achieved its 11th consecutive year of growth last year,” Mr Doyle said, with sales up by over 20% at the close of 2015. New facilities like Audi Centre Springwood will ensure not only the continued growth of the brand but ensure the highest levels of service for which the brand has become so well known.
