Fast start for Audi Foundation

With 2025 off to a flying start, the Audi Foundation too has hit the ground running, launching its first fundraising raffle for the year. Fittingly, as the grand prize for one lucky participant, is one of the brand’s great performance specials – the mighty RS 6 Avant performance, valued at $301,709.18* (drive away) – a scintillating combination of supercar performance and handling in a practical yet luxurious Avant body.

Celebrating its eighth year of operation this year, the work of the Audi Foundation continues to make a real and tangible difference to the lives of countless people around the country, working with its charity partners on a range of proven programs and initiatives.

To date, the Audi Foundation has donated over seven million dollars to its charity partners, whose work across the fields of education and careers, mental health and medical research. 

But of course, these programs are ongoing and require ongoing funding to continue the great work and positive results that have a been achieved to date.

To that end, the Audi Foundation conducts two fundraising raffles each year, which, along with the ongoing funds contributed by the National Audi Dealer Network and donations from generous individuals, form the major source of funding raising for the Audi Foundation.

And while supporting the Audi Foundation and its charity partners is its own reward, the Foundation’s fundraising raffles have always offered an added incentive to those who get behind its vital work. For this, the 14th fundraising raffle, a brand-new Audi RS 6 Avant performance is certainly a compelling incentive to take part.

Valued at $301,709.18* drive away, the RS 6 Avant performance represents the very pinnacle of evolution for a model that has redefined the very idea of a supercar from the outset. A luxurious wagon, or Avant in the Audi parlance, with the performance and handling of a supercar was unheard of until the RS 6 first appeared over two decades ago. Since then, successive iterations of this extraordinary car have continued to evolve the idea of pure performance in a practical, yet luxurious format.The ‘performance’ version of the RS 6 Avant, offered as the grand prize in this Audi Foundation Raffle takes that very idea to new heights, its bi-turbo 4.0-litre V8 producing a massive 463W of power and 850Nm of torque to demolish the sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds. 

Faster and more powerful than any RS 6 Avant to come before it, the ‘performance’ variant also features a raft of weight saving devices, from lighter milled and forged 22-inch wheels, to a reduction in sound damping material which results in the sound of that wonderful twin-turbo V8 being all the more pronounced inside the cabin.

That’s not to say though that the cabin is anything short of luxurious and beautifully executed, featuring state-of-the-art technology, safety and driver assistance systems. The prize vehicle, finished in Nardo Grey features a matt carbon and black exterior package with the Audi rings and badging finished in gloss black. The 22-inch alloy wheels in a 5-Y-spoke design are finished in matt neodymium gold, giving the RS 6 Avant performance looks and road presence to match its awesome performance.

And all this could end up in your garage for just $55 – the price of a ticket in the Audi Foundation raffle, with ticket numbers capped at just 12,000. 

The raffle is open from now until Monday 14 April, 2025, or until all of the 12,000 tickets are sold.

The lucky winner will be drawn from all entries on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 1500hrs (AEST).
