Grand first prize

The inaugural Audi Foundation fundraising raffle has been run and won,
with one lucky participant driving away in a new Audi R8 V10 plus.

In what can only be described as a ‘significant return on investment’, the winner of the inaugural Audi Foundation raffle has taken delivery of the grand prize – an R8 V10 plus.

It may have seemed too good to be true – the potential to win a brand new Audi R8 V10 plus for the princely sum of just $50 a ticket – but that is the situation Nick Jacobson found himself in when he was announced as the winner of the inaugural Audi Foundation fundraising raffle.

Already an Audi owner, Nick’s decision to support the Audi Foundation in the first of what will be a regular fundraising initiative has paid off handsomely, while Nick’s contribution and that of the many Audi customers and members of the general public who took part in the raffle will go a long way to assisting people in need through the charities the Audi Foundation is working with.

Founded in 2017, the Audi Foundation is a registered charity in its own right, funded by Audi Australia and the national Audi dealer network and designed to provide long-term assistance to selected registered charities.

Using a grants system, the Audi Foundation is working with charitable partners such as The Smith Family, ReachOut and RUOK and others that also have a proven track record, to provide long-term support to those in need and give back to communities in which the brand operates.

Offering an Audi R8 V10 plus as the grand prize in the Audi Foundation’s first major fundraising initiative was certainly an attention-grabbing way to get things underway and the response from Audi customers was tremendous says Tom Keenan, Head of the Audi Foundation.

For Nick Jacobson, his purchase of tickets paid a significant dividend, but for those who missed out, there will be the opportunity to support the Audi Foundation and take part in another fundraising raffle later in the year and potentially drive away in a new Audi.
