The burgeoning Macarthur region of Sydney will be home to the newest Audi Terminal, with the Alto Group set to open the new facility in 2018.

The impressive greenfield site, purchased by the Alto Group is 18,000 square metres – located at the corner of Anderson Road and Camden Valley Way in Smeaton Grange, near Narellan – and boasts planning for a 20 bay service workshop, full paint and panel facility plus 2 ovens, large display for up to 100 approved used vehicles and a new car showroom with space for up to 20 vehicles. The dealership will also offer a community facility for use by local sporting, business and charity groups.

The new facility will be the 41st in the growing Audi National Dealer Network and the fourth for the Alto Group, joining its existing facilities in Artarmon, the NSW Central Coast and Pennant Hills.

“The Alto Group currently owns three successful Audi facilities in Sydney and this fourth location will provide even more opportunities for our business and for the local community, including around 60 new jobs,” says Anthony Altomonte, Director of the Alto Group.

“At around $18 million, it’s a large investment, however we are confident the south western corridor of Sydney has great potential for the brand.”

Growth in this key area is part of Audi Australia’s long term network strategy to ensure the brand is represented across the nation, in keeping with the impressive new product range being rolled out in the coming years.

Final plans for the Macarthur facility are currently awaiting approval, with work expected to get underway towards the end of this year ahead of a one year construction schedule.
