Making a difference

Making a genuine difference where it's needed the most.

The perfect opportunity to make a positive difference and go into the running to win a new Audi Q8.

20 August, 2020

Proceeds from the sale of tickets will go to the Audi Foundation to help support its existing partner charities and their ongoing programs

There’s a special feeling that comes with giving and knowing that your contribution is making a positive difference to people who really need it. But that feeling takes on a whole new dimension with the fifth Audi Foundation fundraiser, where one lucky supporter will not only help the work of the Audi Foundation and its partner charities, but have the chance to win a brand new Audi Q8 luxury SUV.

Once again, tickets in the raffle cost just $50 each, with a total of just 10,000 tickets on offer. Proceeds from the sale of tickets will go to the Audi Foundation to help support its existing partner charities and their ongoing programs, which have been so successful since the Foundation’s formation in 2017.

Working with its partners, RU OK?, ReachOut, The Smith Family, Camp Quality, The Charlie Teo Foundation, Country Education Foundation, Humpty Dumpty and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, the Audi Foundation has provided direct support to over 800,000 individuals and families, and impacted over five million people since its inception. Your participation in this latest fund-raising initiative will help continue this important work.

In addition, Audi Australia will offer further support to Australians who may be struggling with mental health during such a difficult year, by contributing $10 for every raffle ticket sold, directly to Lifeline, a free 24/7 crisis support counselling service. Audi Australia’s donation – up to $100,000 if all tickets are sold – will ensure that Lifeline is able to increase its capacity to meet greater demand.

“The effects of the bushfire disaster and the Coronavirus pandemic have made 2020 a very difficult year for many Australians,” says Paul Sansom, Chairman of the Audi Foundation Board and Managing Director of Audi Australia.

“However, that only means that our existing charity partners need the support of the Audi Foundation more than ever – especially when the nation’s attention has deservedly been fixed on other areas of immediate concern.”

For the price of a ticket, each participant will go into the draw to win the Audi Q8 valued at over $168,000, a magnificent, state-of-the-art luxury SUV, released to rave reviews.

With its striking design and road presence, performance and extraordinary levels of appointment, the Audi Q8 represents the pinnacle of the brand’s ‘Q’ models.

This sort of performance from a full-sized, luxury SUV, coupled with its incredible handling is what sets the Audi Q8 apart

The Audi Q8 offers a superb driving experience. Powered by a 3.0-litre TFSI engine with a 48 volt mild hybrid system, it produces 250kW of power at 5500rpm and 500Nm of torque between 2900 and 5300rpm. Working with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and of course quattro all-wheel drive, the Q8 sees off the race from 0 to 100km/h in 5.9 seconds.

This sort of performance from a full-sized, luxury SUV, coupled with its incredible handling is what sets the Audi Q8 apart. Inside it is a study in perfection, with the clean, uncluttered lines of the interior further accentuating the tremendous space inside. Indeed, the interior accommodation of the Q8 needs to be experienced first hand to be fully appreciated. The finish and attention to detail is second to none, and for the driver, the intuitive control layout, with the dual touch screens and voice control are state-of-the-art.

Tickets are on sale from Wednesday, 19th of August 2020 and are strictly limited to 10,000. The raffle will run until Wednesday, 11th of November 2020.
