With 2026 less than two weeks old, Audi Australia has announced the pricing and specification of the all-new Q3 and Q3 Sportback models set to arrive Down Under in the second quarter of the year. The new line-up is extensive, reflecting the importance of the Q3 model range to Australian customers, with both SUV and Sportback body styles, power plants from 110kW to 195kW, front-wheel and quattro all-wheel drive variants. Audi Australia will also offer special launch editions of selected models, giving customers tremendous choice and the ability to select a model perfectly suited to their needs and lifestyle.

“The Audi Q3 is one of the most important vehicles in our Australian portfolio, and this all-new generation represents a significant step forward in every respect,” said Jeff Mannering, Director of Audi Australia.

“It has been redesigned from the ground up to deliver more presence, more technology and more value for our Audi owners, while remaining true to the qualities that have made Q3 such a success in this market.

In Australia the new Q3 range will kick off with the Q3 SUV and Sportback TFSI 110kW priced from $61,600* for the SUV version with the Sportback from $64,600*. A special Audi Q3 SUV TFSI 110kW Launch Edition will also be offered for a limited time priced from $67,000* with a launch edition Sportback from $69,000*.

The more powerful 150kW versions also feature quattro all-wheel drive, with the Audi Q3 SUV TFSI 150 kW quattro S line coming in at $70,200* again with at the equivalent Sportback model at $72,700*. In this category too, Audi Australia will offer special Launch Edition variants priced at $74,600* and $77,100* for the SUV and Sportback variants respectively.

Topping out the range for now at least, is the Q3 SUV TFSI 195kW quattro ($81,9000*) and the Q3 Sportback TFSI 195kW quattro at $84,400*.

This all-new iteration of the Q3 – its third generation – sees the popular, compact luxury SUV continue to evolve. The second-generation model marked a significant departure in terms of styling rom the first generation model that arrived here in 2012, and this new range continues that trend of more aggressive styling and greater road presence.

High-resolution Digital Matrix LED headlights are available for the first time on Q3, using 25,600 micro-LEDs to project precise lighting patterns and assist with lane guidance and warnings, further enhancing safety and visibility.

Inside too the Q3 debuts a new MMI system as well as improved controls and redesigned interior that features the digital stage premiered on the larger Q5 and Q6 models. The design which features a curved digital stage integrates the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus with a 12.8-inch central MMI touch display as well as a host of cutting-edge automotive technology included as standard equipment.

Performance and specification across the board is impressive, starting with the entry models in SUV and Sportback. Powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, mated to a seven-speed S tonic transmission, they produce the 110kkW and 250Nm of torque, hitting 100km/h from standstill in 9.1 seconds.

These models boasts the likes of mild-hybrid technology with cylinder-on-demand for outstanding fuel economy, adaptive LED headlights complete with three selectable daytime running light signatures, as well as acoustic glazing for the front door windows as standard.

Inside, leather-appointed upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats with memory for the driver, heated front seats and three-zone climate control are all standard equipment. These models also include the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus and a 12.8-inch central MMI touchscreen, supported by Audi smartphone interface, digital radio and wireless phone charging with cooling functionality.

The entry-level Sportback variant features also S line exterior styling, distinctive bumpers, S line badging and 19-inch alloy wheels, while the coupe-like roofline is kept free of roof rails which are standard on the SUV, thus maintaining the Sportback’s clean lines.

In addition to these entry models, the aforementioned Launch Edition variants in both body shapes feature S line exterior styling for the SUV, 19-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, metallic paint and red brake callipers, complemented by a black exterior styling package. These special models are further enhanced with adaptive dampers featuring new two-valve technology, while a sound actuator enhances the exhaust note for an even more sporty driving experience.

Stepping up to the more powerful versions sees not only a considerable increase in power to 150kW but also torque of 320Nm. This is thanks to the 2.0-litre engine which also mates to a seven-speed S tonic transmission and puts power down to the road through all four wheels. This combination knocks a full two seconds off the 0 to 100km/h time, brining it down to 7.1 seconds while S line exterior styling and 19-inch alloy wheels are standard across both body styles. The interiors are further enhanced over the entry level models with sport front seats with integrated headrests and the addition of features like hill descent over and above the suite of safety and driver assistance systems offered in the 110kW versions.

Special Launch Edition models are also offered here, which add the likes of metallic paint, 19-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, red brake callipers and a black exterior styling package, as well as adaptive dampers and a sound actuator for just a small increase over the standard 150kW versions.

Headlining the range is the Q3 SUV and Sportback TFSI quattro with 195kW and 400Nm of torque. These high-performance models also feature a four-cylinder powerplant and S tonic transmission with quattro all-wheel drive, with performance increasingly significantly, as evidenced by the 5.7 second 0 to 100km/h time.

Externally they feature 20-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels with large red brake callipers clearly visible. A large panoramic glass sunroof is standard equipment along with privacy glass, while under the skin, adaptive dampers are also standard equipment.

Inside these top specification models feature an S line interior package complete with aluminium inlays, along with stainless steel pedals, heated sports steering wheel and the ambient lighting pro system to tailor the feel of the cockpit to suit any mood. They also feature head-up display, a Sonos premium sound system and enhanced USB charging capability amongst their many technological offerings, making for an interior that is both luxurious and supremely functional.

The all-new Q3 range will arrive in Australia in the second quarter of 2026, with orders now open through Audi dealers nationwide.
