Sneak peek
Audi to unveil an all-new compact electric car at Shanghai Motor Show.
In just over 10 days, Audi will reveal a new, compact vision for the future, when the Audi AI:ME is presented to the world at the Shanghai Motor Show.
4 April, 2019
It’s always a cause for great interest when Audi reveals a concept study at one of the world’s great motor shows. These tantalising previews have a habit of becoming fully-fledged production models in short order time – take for example the case of the Audi TT – presented as a sports car concept at the 1995 Frankfurt International Motor Show, and a series production model just three years later.
In just over 10 days (April 15th), Audi will reveal an exciting new concept study. Called the Audi AI:ME, this new concept study illustrates the brand’s vision of an automated driving compact car for the megacities of tomorrow – so where better to preview the vehicle than Shanghai Motor Show.
This new model fits perfectly with the band’s e-offensive and represents an obvious solution for transportation needs in the world’s ever-increasing number of megacities.
A concept in 2019, but keep in mind, that just two years ago, Audi used this very show to reveal the Audi e-tron Sportback concept, which will go into full series production later this year.
We will bring you all the news of the Audi AI:ME and other exciting developments from the Shanghai Motor Show from April 15th.
