On this, RUOK? Day 2018, content creator, Sam Evans, takes a different spin on carpool karaoke – speaking with some of his friends about mental health and some of the challenges they’ve faced.

13 September, 2018

Having lost a very close family friend to suicide, film maker, traveller and content creator, Sam Evans, was moved to do something himself to help shed light on mental health and suicide in the hope of making a positive difference to the lives of others.

Getting together with a broad cross section of his friends, Sam took to the streets in an Audi RS 6 Avant for some one-on-one time with each of them in his own take on the carpool karaoke idea. Frank and honest conversations on what they and those close to them face and have had to face, as well as ways they’ve learned to cope with the struggles life throws their way.

On this, annual RUOK? Day and at the completion of another Conversation Convoy which has been touring the country spreading the word that ‘it’s okay to ask for help’, Sam and his friends share their insights and thoughts and most importantly, show that there need not be any stigma talking about mental health.

A simple conversation could change or even save a life
