The changes mean that all new Audi Audi models from MY24 (with the exception of the Audi TT) will feature adaptive cruise control as standard equipment

With the new year just around the corner, Audi Australia has announced a significant increase in standard equipment across a large number of model year 2024 vehicles, with an emphasis on safety and driver assistance systems.

The changes mean that all new Audi Audi models from MY24 (with the exception of the Audi TT) will feature adaptive cruise control as standard equipment and models from A1 through to Q5 will also see the addition of Traffic jam assist, active lane assist, and Audi pre sense systems to their lists of standard equipment.

In addition, other models will also receive new exterior paint options and in some cases exterior styling revisions to further enhance their standard offerings, all as an offset for customers against a slight shift in pricing driven by the current unprecedented inflationary pressures.

In addition to the adaptive cruise control, the Audi A1 models – 30, 35 and 40 TFSI – will see a significant range of standard inclusions from MY24, with side assist, Audi pre sense front and pre sense basic, electrically adjusted and heated exterior mirrors and three new exterior paint colours. The A1 40 TFSI will also feature new 18-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels as standard.

Move on to the Audi A3 35 TFSI And 40 TFSI quattro in both Sedan and Sportback and the offering increases to include Audi pre sense front and basic as well as the aforementioned adaptive cruise control and rear USB type C ports with charging function. Likewise the Audi S3 also sees rear USB C ports included along with the Audi pre sense basic which initiates safety measures early on in critical situations.

The Audi A4 range including the 35 TFSI S line Sedan, 45 TFSI quattro S line in Sedan and Avant and all road 40 TDI quattro, all benefit from Adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, turn assist, swerve assist, in addition to predictive efficiency assistant and two new exterior paint colours.

Indeed the Audi A5, A6 and A7 models each get new exterior paint colours – two for A5 and A7 and three for the A6 range. Additionally, the A6 and A7 will also receive minor design changes including a newly designed honeycomb Singleframe grille. The performance Audi S7 model will also feature new 21-inch wheels as standard.

In the ranks of the Q models, the Q2 leads the way with the 35 TFSI and 40 TFSI quattro getting the Audi virtual cockpit, rear USB ports, a storage package and three new exterior colours on top of the ACC and pre sense inclusions.

Audi Q3 35 and 40 TFSI models as well as the SQ3 Sportback 35 TFSI S line will add adaptive cruise assist with active lane assist and two new colours from 2024, while the Q5 models (35 TDI and Sportback 40 TDI quattro S line) will gain turn assist, swerve assist and predictive efficiency assist on top of adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist and a new paint colour.

These equipment changes will be seen on incoming MY24 vehicles which will begin arriving in the country over the coming weeks. The specific arrival dates in Australia of different model lines and models will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

Additional exterior colours will also be available on selected model ranges
