Audi Australia has announced new equipment and pricing for the 2027 Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron models, as well as a limited time offer on Q6 e-tron sport edition models available now. Building on the tremendous appeal of the Q6 e-tron models, the increased levels of standard appointment coupled with sharp pricing is designed to allow customers to take advantage of eligible Government electric vehicle (EV) incentives on Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron models arriving in the first half of next year.
For customers looking to take immediate delivery, the Audi Q6 e-tron sport edition – available in both SUV and Sportback body styles is being offered from $95,900^ (drive-away) on vehicles vehicles ordered until October 2026.
“The Audi Q6 e-tron sits at the cutting-edge of the brand’s electric prowess and the new models represent a compelling value proposition for our customers, combined with Audi’s trademark luxury appointment, finish and design,” says Audi Australia Brand Director, Jeff Mannering.
“With the new models we’ve built on the already desirable offering in terms of standard
appointment, and we’ve refined pricing to enable eligible customers to benefit from current
government EV incentives.”
Based on the Premium Platform Electric developed jointly with Porsche, the Audi Q6 e-trons models have been enthusiastically received since arriving Down Under last year. Bringing emission-free motoring the mid-sized luxury segment, these models offer a perfect blend of permanence and handling, with state-of-the-art technology and outstanding appointment in a vehicle designed to be supremely practical for the every day.
The Audi Q6 e-tron sport edition features a single electric motor motor driving the rear wheels and boasts 185kW of power or 215kW with the launch control activated. With torque of 450Nm it surges off the line from standstill to hit 100km/h in 7.6 seconds – that figure dropping to seven seconds with the launch control employed.
Drawing from an 83 kWh battery (75.8 kWh net) that offers up to 225kW DC charging, it can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 20 minutes with the right charger and an additional 250km of range can be added in just 10 minutes, giving it tremendous versatility.
Available in limited numbers until October 2026, the special drive-away pricing offer of $95,500 for both SUV and Sportback body styles, sees the sport edition offered with 20-inch alloy wheels in a five-twin-spoke offset design, a panoramic sunroof and metallic paint all included as standard.
With the arrival of the new Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron in the new year, Audi Australia has again refined the offering with additional equipment and keen pricing that will allow customers to reap the benefits of higher LCT thresholds.
This will see the Audi Q6 e-tron in both SUV and Sportback body styles arrive from $89,900* while more performance oriented customers will be able to enjoy the greater power and handling characteristics of the quattro SQ6 e-tron models from $129,900* for the SQ6 e-tron and $134,900* for the SQ6 Sportback e-tron.
The Audi Q6 e-tron utilises the same drivetrain and battery as the Q6 e-tron sport edition and also features high levels of standard equipment. Model year 2027 variants will also feature metallic paint as standard along with a panoramic sunroof and 20-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels. Roof rails on the SUV body style are finished in black while the electric tailgate features programmable opening height and gesture control.

The SQ6 e-tron models bring even greater performance to the ranks, with an electric motor mounted to both the front and rear axles producing a whopping 360kW of power which grows to 380kW with the launch control in play. That means torque of 275Nm up front and 580Nm on the rear, for 4.3 second 0 to 100km/h time. Obviously the SQ6 e-tron employs a larger 100kWh battery (94.9kWh net), but thanks to its 270 kW DC fast charging capabilities, it takes no longer than the Q6 e-tron to charge from 10 to 80 percent.
The SQ6 e-tron models also build on the equipment of the Q6 e-tron, with the black exterior styling package as standard as well as digital OLED rear lights with configurable signatures, acoustic glazing for the front windows and privacy glass for the rear and side windows.
The SQ6 e-tron models ride on 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels which show off the standard red brake callipers, with adaptive air suspension providing a ‘magic carpet-like’ ride.
Inside the SQ6 e-tron also gets pneumatically adjustable lumbar support with massage function for the front seats and Dinamica material is used extensively throughout the interior. Colour ambient lighting with 30 selectable colours and dynamic light interaction is part of the standard interior offering along with a three-spoke sport leather steering wheel with flat top and bottom, multifunction paddles and electrically adjusted steering column. The augmented head-up display shows speed, navigation and assistance information and there are dual charging capacity USB interfaces in the front as well as two high charging capacity USB interfaces in the rear. There is also a 705-watt Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system which features 16 speakers including subwoofer and centre speaker, as well as a 16-channel amplifier.
Regardless of the model they constitute extensive and impressive packages that built on the obvious appeal of the Q6 e-tron range. The perfect size and balance of performance and luxury appointment in what is often considered the sweet spot in terms of size, the new specification and pricing make the Q6 e-tron models an even more compelling proposition.
