The death of drifting legend Ken Block shook the entire motorsport world at the beginning of January, but now a previously unreleased last episode of his famous drift videos stands as a tribute to the man who thrilled millions.

More than 100 million people worldwide have so far seen Ken Block’s film Electrikhana – a wild ride in the Audi S1 Hoonitron through Las Vegas in true Ken Block Style. After its finished and release, Ken and his team embarked on the next chapter, with filming for what was to become Electrikhana Two wrapping up in November last year – just a few weeks before the snowmobile accident that would take his life.

It was a matter close to the heart of Ken’s family to complete and release the film in his memory, so now a last instalment of Electrkhana has been released as a tribute to his extraordinary life.

Electrikhana Two was filmed in Mexico City – one of the world’s busiest cities with 22 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area.

Following the filming of the first Electrikhana episode in August 2022, the S1 Hoonitron was further developed by Audi Sport in close collaboration with Ken, with reduced weight, improving drivability and simulating gear changes.

In addition, Ken and the Audi Sport engineers came up with special trick for the new film, where, in one scene, the front and rear axles pull in opposite directions, causing the Audi S1 Hoonitron to disappear into a large white cloud when stationary.

The action is pure ‘Block’ and a fitting tribute to the man whose films continue to thrill millions of fans around the world.
