This year the Audi Foundation will celebrate its fifth anniversary – a half decade of making a genuine difference to individuals and communities around the country in collaboration with its not-for-profit partners. To kick off 2022 in style, the first Audi Foundation fundraiser for the year gives participants the opportunity to not only help continue that great work, but in the process, go into the running to win a striking Audi SQ5 Sportback TDI in Daytona grey valued at $106,640 including registration and on-road costs.

The eighth fundraising raffle since the Audi Foundation was launched in 2017, the proceeds raised will once again go towards supporting a range of initiatives run by the foundation’s charitable partners. Targeting positive mental health outcomes, education and careers as well as progressive approaches to medical technology and treatment, the Audi Foundation with its partnerships continues to have a tremendous positive impact on a large number of Australians.

Last year, in addition to these three main pillars, the foundation added a new area where it supports sustainable communities – supporting locally-based projects aimed at rebuilding and renewing Australian communities and the environment.

Since its inception, over four million dollars has been raised for the foundation’s charity partners and support has been provided to more than 1.6 million individuals and families. In just five years, that equates to more than six million people who have been positively impacted by the Audi Foundation.

This new raffle will once again consist of just 10,000 tickets priced at $50 each – with every ticket not just a chance to contribute to the ongoing work, but also to win the Audi SQ5 Sportback TDI.

As far as incentives go, this vehicle is about as compelling as it gets. Released in Australia just last year, the SQ5 Sportback TDI is the latest iteration of a vehicle that has developed something of a cult following amongst Audi aficionados. Its perfect balance of high-performance, razor-sharp handling and luxury appointment have been combined with Audi’s distinctive Sportback styling with outstanding results. Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 TDI powerplant featuring 48v MHEV technology and Electric Powered Compressor (EPC), it produces a serious 251kW of power and a stump-pulling 700Nm of torque, which, combined with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and power going down to the road via quattro all-wheel drive, demolishes the sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.1 seconds.

Yet despite its blistering performance, the SQ5 TDI Sportback can deliver fuel consumption as low as 7.1L/100km and its twin SCR catalytic converters reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 90 percent bringing it in well under the stringent EU 6d emissions standards.

Of course the SQ5 Sportback TDI is equally accomplished as a luxury conveyance as it is a performance specialist, featuring a beautifully appointed cabin finished in fine Nappa leather upholstery with the very latest of technology and connectivity seamlessly integrated.

Each ticket represents not only a chance to help continue the Audi Foundation's work, but to win the SQ5 Sportback TDI

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from the Audi Foundation website

From the Audi virtual cockpit and the 10.1-inch high-resolution MMI touch screen display to the head-up display and integration of Audi smartphone interface via Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, Audi phone box light with the convenience of wireless charging for mobile phones – the SQ5 Sportback wants for nothing. There is a wonderful Bang & Olufsen sound system with 19 speakers should you want a change from the mesmerising soundtrack of the quad exhausts, ambient lighting with 30 different colours to set the mood and of course Audi connect plus connecting the vehicle to a world of online services.

Its external styling is distinctive and unashamedly sporty, yet with the classic restraint and subtlety for which the S models are renowned. From the Matrix LED head lights and distinctive black honeycomb grilled, to the 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, sweeping Sportback roofline right down to the trademark S quad exhaust tips, the SQ5 Sportback TDI makes a strong visual impression. From any angle – particularly from behind the wheel – it’s certainly an added incentive to take part in the fundraiser.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online from the Audi Foundation website. The draw is open to all Australian residents 18 years and over (with the exception of those in Western Australia), and will run until May 25th 2022, with the winner drawn and announced on May 27th.
