The feeling is electric

The 10th Audi Foundation fundraising raffle is now underway and those purchasing a ticket to support the ongoing efforts of the Audi Foundation will go into the running to win an all-electric Audi e-tron GT quattro in Kemora Grey.

While the very act of giving and helping others is its own reward, the Audi e-tron GT quattro valued at $205,512* makes for a compelling added incentive to get behind the Audi Foundation and its not-for-profit partners.

Now in its sixth year, the Audi Foundation has raised over five and half million dollars through donations, the Audi national dealer network and fundraisers like this. These monies have been used to support far-reaching programs across the Foundation’s core pillars of mental health initiatives, education and careers as well as progressive approaches to medical technology and treatment. In addition, the Foundation has also put in place a sustainable communities program which provides support for communities adversely affected by unforeseen challenges like bushfires and floods.

Working with its not-for-profit partners – The Smith Family, ReachOut, The Children’s Cancer Institute, R U OK?, Humpty Dumpty Foundation, Youth Opportunities, Zephyr Education Inc. and Country Education Foundation of Australia – the Audi Foundation has made a positive impact on the lives of literally millions of Australians since its inception.

“These funds go towards proven programs that continue to have a positive impact on the lives of so many Australians and while the efforts of the Audi Foundation have exceeded all expectation since its inception in 2017, we are mindful of the fact that the work is ongoing and that there is always more that needs to be done.”

Funds from this raffle will go towards seeing that the ongoing work continues, be it the works skills programs through The Smith Family, life-changing research and treatment at the Children’s Cancer Institute or scholarships through the Country Education Foundation, to name just some of the extraordinary areas supported by the Audi Foundation.

This new raffle will consist of just 12,000 tickets priced at $50 each – with every ticket not just a chance to contribute to the ongoing work of the Audi Foundation, but also a chance to win the stunning Audi e-tron GT. This is the first time an all-electric model has been offered as the prize in an Audi Foundation raffle and fittingly this vehicle represents the pinnacle of all-electric, high-performance motoring.

Valued at $205,512* drive away, the lucky winner will take delivery of a truly extraordinary vehicle. Powered by two electric motors – one on the front and one on the rear axle – it produces a massive 350kW (390kW on boost) and 630Nm of torque to rocket from a standstill to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds, thrusting you and up to four passengers back into the leather appointed sports seats. Every inch a driver’s car for the modern age, this is a genuine grand tourer which showcases the brand’s engineering and design prowess as well as its leadership in e-mobility. 

Described by Audi’s Chief of Design, Marc Lichte, as ‘the most beautiful car he has ever designed’ the Audi e-tron GT has already won a raft of awards around the globe including World Performance Car for 2022.

Yet despite its superb performance and handling, it delivers the highest levels of luxury, technology and safety. From its sublime ride courtesy of its three-chamber adaptive air suspension, to its Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light and Bang & Olufsen 16 speaker  3D Sound System inside the sumptuous cabin – every aspect of the Audi e-tron GT quattro has been carefully considered and beautifully executed to deliver the ultimate in grand touring. 

With its 93 kWh battery, it can deliver over 500km of emission-free driving and can be recharged at the maximum 270kW Direct Current (DC) capacity, charging from five percent to 80 percent in just just over 22 minutes. The winner will also receive a six-year subscription to the Chargefox charging network¹, providing unlimited charging on all ultra-rapid and selected fast and standard chargers within the Chargefox network – all of which are powered by 100 percent renewable energy. 

Using the 7.2kW AC home-charging solution which is also provided as part of the prize, the e-tron GT is easily charged overnight and the winner will also receive six years complimentary servicing² as well as six years roadside assistance³. 

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online from the Audi Foundation website. The draw is open to all Australian residents 18 years and over (with the exception of Western Australian residents) and will run until June 14th 2023, with the winner drawn and announced on June 16th.

Tickets traditionally sell out quickly for Audi Foundation raffles, so this is one not to be missed – and every ticket purchased makes a real difference.
