The Audi Foundation’s final fundraising raffle for the year is up and running, with an awe-inspiring RS e-tron GT as the grand prize.

6 September, 2024

With the end of another year just over the horizon, the second and final Audi Foundation fundraising raffle for 2024 is now live, with an extraordinary RS e-tron GT going to one lucky participant as the grand first prize. Valued at nearly $300,000, the RS e-tron GT represents the very pinnacle of all-electric performance driving, and is the first all-electric model to wear the coveted RS badge.

With dual electric motors (one on each axle) delivering up to 475kW in boost mode and 830Nm of torque, it boasts breathtaking performance, rocketing from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds. This extraordinary acceleration coupled with unrivalled luxury and of course its striking styling, make for a vehicle that sets the benchmark for grand tourers and is a fitting first prize for the final Audi Foundation raffle for the year.

The Audi Foundation holds just two fundraising raffles each year, with monies raised going to support the important work of the foundation’s eight not-for-profit partners. These charity partners, operating across the fields of mental health, education and careers as well as progressive approaches to medical technology and treatment have a proven track record of delivering results through established programs and have made a positive impact on the lives of countless Australians.

Indeed since the Audi Foundation was established in 2017, with the ongoing support of the Audi Dealer Network, individual donors and fundraising initiatives like this one, the Audi Foundation has raised close to seven million dollars, with those monies going to directly supporting these tremendous partners and their ongoing programs.

Of course while giving and helping others is its own reward, in the case of the Audi Foundation it is certainly not the only reward as the previous 12 raffle winners can attest. In the first raffle this year another RS model was offered up as the grand prize, with the lucky winner saying that he joked about winning just 15 minutes before the call came through from Audi Australia to tell him he had won. This time, one lucky ticket holder will get the call to tell them that have become the owner of a new RS e-tron GT valued at $299,994.71* (driveaway).

Finished in Daytona grey, pearl effect paint and riding on 21-inch alloy rims in a five-double spoke concave module design finished in black, it is an absolutely striking car. In fact the man responsible for penning the timeless design, Audi’s then Head of Design Marc Lichte, said at its launch that it was the most beautiful car he had ever designed. Its elegant sweeping shape reminiscent of the great grand tourers but with its own unmistakable style – a balance of sophistication with the promise of unbridled performance.

The prize car comes with a carbon black exterior styling package which includes carbon roof, carbon exterior mirror caps and black Audi rings on the front and rear as well as the model badges finished in black.

Inside too, the finish is exceptional, the spacious cabin beautifully executed to the very highest standards with striking Arras red upholstery throughout. In addition it features a sensory package which features front seats with massage function, heated outer rear seats and air quality packing ioniser.

Most impressive of all though is the performance of the RS e-tron GT, which simply cannot be adequately described in writing. This is a car that hits 100km/h in 3.3 seconds, its power delivery is instantaneous and relentless as you are pushed back into the sports seats with a force that needs to be felt to be fully appreciated.

A truly incredible vehicle in every respect, with a value of $299,994.71* (drive away) it represents a significant grand prize in this raffle, and a significant return on an outlay of just $55 per ticket.

Once again, just 12,000 tickets will be offered, with the raffle open to all Australian residents aged 18 and over. Although a modest amount of money, every ticket purchased will help make a genuine difference through the various ongoing programs as well as giving every ticket holder the chance to win the RS e-tron GT.

But for the first time, this raffle will also see a second prize offered, with an exclusive Audi Foundation Dinner & Drive Experience for two people valued up at $6451.00 going to another lucky participant. This extraordinary experience will see two people travel to Melbourne on November 14th for a night’s accommodation at Crown Towers and private dinner at Bistro Guillaume, hosted by Audi Ambassador Guillaume Brahimi. Then the next day they will head to Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit to take in the acclaimed Audi driving experience.

The prize includes return flights from the winner’s closest capital city in Australia to Melbourne and transfers to Crown Towers as well as to and from Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit for an experience that will long live in the memory^.

Tickets in this, the 13th Audi Foundation fundraising raffle are available now from the Audi Foundation website, with the raffle ending on Wednesday, 30 October this year and the draw held on Friday 1st November. The winner of this outstanding vehicle and the winner of the Audi Foundation Dinner and Driving Experience will be notified on the day by phone and in writing. Of course everyone who takes part in the raffle will have made an invaluable contribution to an organisation that makes a positive change in the lives of so many around the country.
