This interactive guided tour gives participants a snapshot of the highlights from more than 120 years of automotive engineering at Audi
Although overseas travel looks to be making a long anticipated comeback in the near future, fans of Audi can take a deep dive into the brand’s illustrious past from the comfort of their own home. The newest addition to the Audi Tradition series of live stream events, this interactive guided tour gives participants a snapshot of the highlights from more than 120 years of automotive engineering at Audi.
Using film footage along with historical material, Audi tour guides host the events from a studio in Ingolstadt, sharing their knowledge from numerous tours at the Audi museum mobile, and interacting with participants over the course of the 20 minute live stream.
The Audi Tradition live stream charts many of the highlights from the brand’s history, from the beginnings of vehicle production to modern high-tech manufacturing at Audi, and from early motorsport successes to Audi’s victories from the 1980s onwards in rallies and circuit races worldwide.
There are insights into many of the technical milestones such as quattro all-wheel drive, and the brief journey through time is rounded out with a look at the mobility of tomorrow.
Participants join in from the comfort of their own home via their computer or mobile device, selecting a date and time to watch the livestream online at AudiStream. There is no cost to take part, but as places are limited, it is important to log on and register in order to book your desired session.
You will also be asked to select the way you'd like to communicate during the livestream. Selecting live&talk will allow you to see and hear the program live and enable you to speak to the guide, while live&chat will allow you to transmit your questions via chat.
This new virtual history tour is the latest livestream from AudiStream, and joins a number of other such offerings, including a live look at the Neckarsulm site, Audi live at the Ingolstadt factory, or ‘Insight Audi Design’. To date, more than 20,000 people have taken advantage of these virtual tours, and such has been their popularity that more areas of interest around the brand are being planned for the future.
For more information on how to take part, visit AudiStream to register your details and select a time and date to step back in time.
