Playing at the very top level of international soccer (or football as the world knows it), certainly has its perks, and for Bayern Munich stars, one of those benefits is receiving their ‘company cars’ from the teams vehicle sponsor, Audi.

For the past 15 years, Audi and German football powerhouse, Bayern Munich have been in partnership, and the players and senior club staff have enjoyed driving Audis as their primary transport. This year, players headed to the Audi Piazza in Ingolstadt to receive the keys of their chosen vehicles and to meet fans and Audi employees who turned out in the hundreds to greet their sporting heroes.

"It’s been another very busy year for the Audi/Bayern Munich partnership, including another exciting Audi Cup as well as Bayern’s training camp in China and Singapore."

Not surprisingly, the all-powerful RS models have traditionally been very popular with the Munich team. This year five players selected the Audi RS 6 Avant as their vehicles – including Hummels, Jérôme Boateng and Thiago Alcántara. Very popular as well is the Audi Q7 and the even sportier Audi SQ7 TDI version was the vehicle of choice for Müller and Franck Ribéry as well as others. Coach Jupp Heynckes received an Audi SQ5, while up-and-coming player Felix Götze, chose the Audi A3 Sportback as the perfect car for his needs.
