Hitting completely new heights of performance, handling and luxury appointment, the RS e-tron GT performance represents the pinnacle of the all-new, three-tier e-tron GT range for Australia. With its 550kW of power, increasing to 680kW on boost, and a massive 1027Nm of torque, the RS e-tron GT performance dismantles the sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds and headlines a new range of three extraordinary vehicles at the very pinnacle of the brand’s performance offering.

Starting with the S e-tron GT from $209,900*, the range includes an RS e-tron GT model from $264,900* and the RS e-tron GT performance from $309,900*. Specification, like the performance figures, is impressive in every way, offering up a driving experience in each model that is matched by the level of sophistication in the ride, handling and appointment of each variant.

Not only has performance been significantly increased in the new e-tron GT family, but new technology and numerous refinements make for a more refined and accomplished range. From greater battery capacity and increased range of over 500km for each model, to faster charging – up from 270 kW to 320 kW – each of the new e-tron GT variants builds on the already impressive specification and abilities of the first e-tron GT models released in Australia back in 2021.

New additions like the ‘push to pass’ boost function on the RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance, provides an additional 70kW of power for overtaking when activated and add considerably to the usability of these vehicles.

In addition, the launch control mode has been significantly bolstered with 65kW initial boost for the S e-tron GT and 130kW for the two RS variants, delivering an even more focused performance product than ever before.

Using a larger capacity (105 kWh gross) yet lighter lithium-ion battery, range has also increased, with up to 559km for the S e-tron GT, while the RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance deliver up to 522 and 528km respectively. Charging too has been markedly upgraded with an additional 50kW to 320kW, which under ideal conditions, allows charging from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes at a high-power charging outlet.

Of course performance lies at the heart of each model in the range, with the ‘entry level’ S e-tron GT boasting performance figures on a par with the original RS e-tron GT. With 435kW or 500kW on boost, it delivers 740Nm of torque and hits 100km/h from standstill in just 3.4 seconds.

The new RS e-tron GT steps that up with 500kW which goes to 630kW on boost, with 865Nm of torque and a 0 to 100km/h time of 3.1 seconds. Those figures climb even higher to 550 and 680kW of power on boost and 1027Nm of torque for the RS e-tron GT performance.
