The Dynamic Black range offer a combination of styling enhancements and additional equipment

Featuring a range of subtle yet distinctive design elements finished in black, as well as additional equipment and items not available in the regular model line-up, the Dynamic Black range bring an even greater air of exclusivity to some of the brand’s most popular models.

Offered for a strictly limited time on select models from the A range and across the Audi Q family of models, the Dynamic Black models build on the already impressive levels of appointment and equipment offered in the regular range as well as imbuing them with their own distinctive styling.

“These special models bring together a combination of striking design features that give the Dynamic Black range a tremendous road presence that will strike a chord with customers wanting a more sporty look for their Audi,” says Jeff Mannering, Director of Audi Australia.

The Dynamic Black range includes the A4 Sedan and Avant models as well as the A5 Sportback and models from the Q range, from the ultimate urban Audi Q2 right through to the pinnacle of luxury SUVs, the Audi Q8.

The Q2 35 TFSI Dynamic Black ($49,950*) offers customers the choice of two 19-inch alloy wheel options finished in anthracite black, as well as metallic paint as standard and bumpers finished in vehicle’s body colour. The regular badging indicating the model designation has been removed on this and all of the Dynamic Black vehicles, leaving only minimal badging including of course the famous Audi rings, all finished in black. Likewise the other exterior elements including the wing mirrors and the Audi rings in black on the vehicle’s C-pillar are all finished in black.

The larger Audi Q3 also receives the Dynamic Black treatment, in the form of the 35 TFSI ($57,950*) and Q3 Sportback 35 TFSI quattro ($60,750*). Again, both have had their model badging removed for a cleaner overall look, with the Audi rings finished in black as part of the black styling package.

The black treatment is also applied to the roof rails on the SUV variant and rear privacy glass is included as standard. Metallic/pearlescent paint and colour matched front and rear lower bumpers are standard as are large 19-inch alloys in a partly polished grey finish.

The Dynamic Black treatment extends to the interior as well, with the addition of heated front seats with electric adjustment and four-way lumbar support, colour ambient lighting and inlays in aluminium.

The ever-popular Q5 range sees both SUV and Sportback variants with TDI and TFSI powerplants offered with the Dynamic Black treatment. Customers can choose from the Q5 35 TDI ($71,250*) and 40 TDI quattro ($84,900*) and the Q5 45 TFSI models (SUV $85,669* and Sportback $94,569*), with each model getting the distinctive black highlights of the extended black exterior package and the Audi rings finished in black. Large 20-inch wheels with a five-arm Falx design are also finished in matte black and partially polished with red brake callipers for all models except the Q5 35 TDI.

The distinctive package applied to the Q5 range also includes the addition of  the colour ambient light package as well as design interiors in black with contrasting stitching in rock grey in addition to an extended upholstery package.

The Q7 45 TDI Dynamic Black ($117,169*) likewise features the extended black exterior package to dramatic effect, with black roof rails, wing mirror covers, door sill trims and special 22-inch wheels with a five-spoke V pattern. Metallic paint is standard, as is rear privacy glass and the colour interior ambient lighting package.

Step up to the pinnacle of the brand’s Q range – the Q8 – and both the Q8 50 TDI S line ($138,769*) and 55 TFSI S line Dynamic Black ($140,069*) models also feature 22-inch wheels, but finished in silver and matt black and external styling elements are again finished in black.

Customers can choose from some of the brand's most popular models from both the A and Q lineups

Over and above the Dynamic Black offerings, customers can opt to go further with the addition of a Carbon Package for both the A4 45 TFSI Sedan and A5 Dynamic Black models

Vehicles from the A4 and A5 range are also offered for a short time with the Dynamic Black treatment, with three A4 Dynamic Black models – the 35 TFSI Sedan ($69,100*) and 45 TFSI quattro in both Sedan ($77,869*) and Avant ($80,369*). These all feature 19-inch alloy rims finished in anthracite black as well as the extended black exterior treatment. Both of the 45 TFSI models also feature brake callipers finished in red, while inside, all three feature the colour ambient lighting package and headlining finished in black cloth.

In addition to the A4 models, the stunning A5 Sportback is also available as a Dynamic Black model ($92,969*), which includes the black styling cues as well as the S line interior package with S Sport front seats finished in fine Nappa leather with massage function. The package also includes the colour ambient lighting.

Over and above the Dynamic Black offerings, customers can opt to go further with the addition of a Carbon Package for both the A4 45 TFSI Sedan and A5 Dynamic Black models. This adds a carbon rear deck spoiler and carbon wing mirror caps in place of the black finish and includes the famous Audi four-ringed logo applied to the bottom half of the rear doors.

It’s an extensive range to choose from, catering to tastes and lifestyle across the board, but the Dynamic Black range will only be offered for a limited time. For more information visit the Audi Australia Website.
