“We feel it’s important to always look at ways of improving how we do things and of delivering the very best possible experience to our customers”

As part of its policy of ongoing review and refinement, Audi Australia has appointed a new partner to operate its Roadside Assistance Program to ensure customers receive the very highest level of premium service and care whenever and wherever required. The new provider, 365 Roadside Assistance, was appointed in late 2023 and although the number to call and the procedure for summoning assistance nationwide remains unchanged, customers will notice an even more efficient and refined service should they find themselves in the unfortunate position of having to call for assistance.

“The move came as a result of ongoing evaluation from our side and from customer feedback we’d received,” says Jerome Figuiere, Aftersales Director at Audi Australia.

“We take customer feedback very seriously and feel it’s important to always look at ways of improving how we do things and of delivering the very best possible experience to our customers.”

“With its national reach and strong presence in both metropolitan and regional areas, 365 Roadside Assistance very much meet our expectations and those of our customers.”

As far as customers are concerned, ‘ease of operation’ and the number 1800 818 833 remain unchanged, but the whole process of arranging assistance has been streamlined. New call centres, managed locally, access a fleet of assistance vehicles operating right around the country including rural and remote locations.

Likewise those with Audi connect plus utilising the online roadside assistance call button in their vehicle will be instantly connected to the new provider and those involved in minor accidents where they feel the vehicle is not safe to be driven, can arrange to have it towed to the nearest Audi dealer or Audi Approved Repairer.

Customers whose roadside assistance is about to expire can also take advantage of ongoing roadside cover simply by servicing their Audi vehicle at an authorised Audi dealership and receive 12 months roadside assistance at no extra cost.

Customers are only a phone call or the press of a button away from seamless, professional assistance

Called Service Initiated Roadside Assistance (SIRA), this initiative is designed to give owners the ongoing benefit of this important service after their warranty or roadside assistance has expired, simply by continuing to take advantage of the superior workmanship and expertise provided by an authorised Audi dealership.

Of course the program continues to operate around the clock, year round, giving owners the confidence that should they find themselves in an accident or suffering some difficulty, they are only a phone call or the press of a button away from seamless, professional assistance.

“Obviously no one wants to have to access assistance with their vehicle,” says Figuiere, “but should they find themselves in that unfortunate position of needing roadside assistance for whatever reason, we want them to know that they will receive the sort of premium service that comes with Audi ownership and be looked after quickly and professionally.”
